Tuesday, February 1, 2022 – 10 am CT Keynote Address by Junlei Li, Ph.D.
Dr. Junlei Li will speak on the essence of quality focusing on human interactions with teachers. Dr. Li currently serves as the Co-chair of the Human Development and Education Program and the Saul Zaentz senior lecturer in Early Childhood Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Tuesday, February 15, 2022 – 6 pm CT Parent Advocacy Training Co-Hosted with Stand for Children Louisiana
This hour-long training will teach parents to how to communicate and engage with their elected officials at the state and local levels. This event is being co-hosted by Stand for Children Louisiana and the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children.
Friday, February 25, 2022 – Business Breakfast Briefing Co-Hosted with LABI
During the briefing, Sarah Rittling, Executive Director at First Five Years Fund, discussed the importance of child care and the impacts it has on the workforce and the economy. The briefing included a demo of our business workforce calculator conducted by Phillip May, President & CEO of Entergy Corporation LLC, which helps businesses across Louisiana understand the impacts of child care breakdowns on their own bottom line.
