Kristy Chauvin is the Operations Manager for the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children where she manages the daily support operations for the organization.

Kristy is well-versed operations professional with over 10 years experience in managing daily administrative operations, compliance and procurement both in the public and private sectors.

With a passion for achieving goals and a proactive approach, Kristy consistently exceeds expectations and applies exceptional planning and problem-solving abilities toward enhancing business plans and day-to-day activities. Kristy has a solid understanding of industry trends, excellent communication skills, talent for spotting areas in need of improvement and implementing changes with a strategic approach. 

Strong leader and problem-solver dedicated to streamlining operations to decrease costs and promote organizational efficiency. Uses independent decision-making skills and sound judgment to positively impact company success. Collaborative leader with dedication to partnering with coworkers to promote engaged, empowering work culture. 

Kristy has an associate degree in business administration from American Intercontinental University. Prior to joining LPIC, Kristy was the Procurement/Contracts Coordinator at the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority and DBE Support Specialist at First Transit, Inc. 

In her spare time, Kristy enjoys cooking Italian meals and planning family gatherings. She loves to take vacations with her children and granddaughter. Kristy is a dedicated fan for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans.
