The Louisiana 2022 legislative session convenes on Monday, March 14, 2022, and adjourns on Monday, June 6, 2022.

The main ways you can get involved are to: 

  1. Email and/or call specific members of the Louisiana House and Senate
  2. Contact your legislator personally
  3. Send your comments to key committees via email
  4. Come to the Capitol to attend committee meetings and meet with your state legislators in-person

Come to the Louisiana State Capitol 

Come to the Louisiana State Capitol to meet with your state legislators and testify in person at committee meetings to voice your support. Arriving at the Capitol

The address of the Louisiana State Capitol is 900 N 3rd St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Parking is usually available along River Road, which is a short walk to the Capitol. If you are coming with young children or have mobility issues, please consider having someone drop you off near the Capitol Building on 3rd Street.
