February 2022 Monthly Update
Dear Friends and Partners,
We are excited to share that Early Ed Month 2022 was an enormous success. Over 400 parents, advocates, business leaders, and elected officials across the state participated in 9 events throughout the month. Scroll down for a recap below!
Early Ed Month 2022 would not be possible without our sponsors. Thank you to Entergy Corporation, LLC for being the title sponsor and to Jones Walker LLP, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Cox Communications, Clara’s Little Lambs, Agenda for Children, The Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Save the Children Action Network, Stand for Children Louisiana, ResourceFull Consulting, Gambel Communications, and Baptist Community Ministries for your generous support.
We also want to thank the Louisiana Early Childhood Business Roundtable, United Way of Southeast Louisiana, Louisiana Association of United Ways, Capital Area United Way, United Way of Southwest Louisiana, United Way of Northeast Louisiana, and the United Way of Acadiana for your continued partnership.
We are also quickly approaching the start of the 2022 Legislative Session on Monday, March 14th. We are ready to advocate alongside the Ready Louisiana Coalition for the Legislature to appropriate $94 million to early care and education.
As always, we offer our organization as a resource to answer questions related to our research around early care and education in Louisiana. Thank you for your commitment to Louisiana’s youngest learners!
Until then, we hope you all have a safe Mardi Gras holiday!
