September 2025 Monthly Update
As summer winds down, we are excited to invite you to two major events this October. First, the second annual Louisiana Early Childhood Symposium will feature experts and practitioners who will come together to explore solutions and strategies for Louisiana’s youngest learners. Second, we recently completed a study of family child care with partners and will hold a press conference to highlight key findings, share insights from family child care providers, and discuss policy opportunities to strengthen and support the future of family child care in Louisiana.
Team members have also traveled across the state over the past month, connecting with leaders and learning from others. These experiences strengthen our work as an organization and help us bring new ideas and strategies to support Louisiana’s children, families, and professionals.
